In a remarkable display of commitment to education, Balochistan Caretaker Chief Minister, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, visited the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) office on January 19, 2024. Distributing scholarship cheques to students enrolled in various institutions of Balochistan, the Chief Minister emphasized the enduring connection between Balochistan and its talented youth.
Established to combat the challenges of poverty and financial constraints in the province, the BEEF has become a beacon of hope for aspiring architects of the future. Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki highlighted the fund’s mission to provide Quality Education to talented students, ensuring that no child is deprived due to financial difficulties.
Underlining the fund success, CEO, BEEF Muhammad Zakaria Khan Noorzai revealed that an impressive 73,060 scholarships, totaling around 4.1 billion have already been disbursed. The BEEF continues its impactful work, granting educational scholarships to over 12,000 youth in Balochistan each year. He further said that breaking new ground, a visionary scheme of four billion rupees has been earmarked for residential institutions and cadet colleges, offering full educational expenses for male and female students from all districts of Balochistan. Secretary Finance Balochistan, Babar Khan, lauded the commendable performance of the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund in this transformative journey toward a brighter educational future.
