Chief Minister Balochistan - Merit Scholarships for Leading PhD Programs (CMSPP).

The Chief Minister - Merit Scholarships for Leading PhD Programs (CMSPP) are your gateway to international academic excellence! In STEM Subject 70% and Social Sciences, Humanities, or Arts (30%).

How to Apply:

Applications are invited from the students of Balochistan for the award of PhD scholarships in world top 100 QS ranking universities for session 2025. Interested candidates can find the application form and detailed guidelines on the BEEF website .

Who Can Apply?

  1. Maximum age of 40 (forty) years as at the closing date of the advertisement.
  2. Resident of Balochistan having local and domicile of the Province, having permanent and present address of Balochistan in CNIC. Residence certificate from district administration is also required.
  3. Not less than 60% marks throughout the academic career (Only one second division allowed in career other than MS/MPhil).
  4. Permanent/regular faculty members of the public sector teaching/ educational institutions and public service of Pakistan are not eligible.
  5. Must have an un-conditional/ Valid offer letter of PhD from any of the top 100 QS ranking universities of the world in the academic session(2025) . It is the responsibility of the applicant to meet the admission criteria(s) of the University including the Language Proficiency Test and Visa Process.
  6. Must not have availed any foreign PhD scholarship in the past for any National/ Provincial or Donor
  7. BEEF will conduct the aptitude test for the selection of the scholars.
  8. Provide references from at least two individuals.
  9. Applicants must not have any criminal record to be eligible for this program.

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Fully Funded Scholarships for District Toppers of Matric & Intermediate Students of Balochistan

After a briefing by CEO BEEF on 8thApril 2024, the Honorable Chief Minister of Balochistan appreciated BEEF efforts and further taken visionary initiative to boost healthy competition and reward hardworking students of Balochistan through awarding Fully Funded Annual Scholarships for the District Toppers (top-5) for Matric & (top-5) for Intermediate Students of Balochistan under Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Fully Funded flag-ship Scholarships program for quality education. It shall be managed by Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF).

Beneficiaries:

  1. 05 toppers of each district have passed out Matriculation from Government Institutions of Balochistan, the Annual Examination conducted and result 2024 declared by the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) or Federal Board of Intermediate and Examination (FBISE).
  2. 05 toppers of each district have passed out Intermediate from Government Institutions of Balochistan, the Annual Examination conducted and result 2024 declared by Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) or Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FIBSE).
  3. Aspirant students must have studied from Balochistan based institutions.

Class Coverage:

  • 2 years Intermediate / 3 years DAE, the position holderson the basis of result 2024 of Matriculation annual exams declared by BBISE/FBISE.
  • 4/5 years BS program for the position holders (top-5) on the basis of result 2024 of Intermediate annual exams declared by BBISE/FBISE.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Must have local/domicile of Balochistan.
  2. Must have present & permanent address of Balochistan in CNIC.
  3. Must have passed exam from Government Institutions of Balochistan and exam taken by Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) or Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
  4. Must have secured at-least 60% marks and have attained position amongst top 5 in their respective district.
  5. Must be enrolled in the next level / class in any institution of Pakistan preferably CoE of BEEF.
  6. Must to maintain at-least 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA for continuation of scholarship.
  7. Should not be availing any other scholarship including Directorate of Balochistan.

 

 

 

 

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Fully Funded scholarships program for Civil Martyrs of Balochistan

Scholarships for the children of declared martyrs of civil martyrs of Balochistan by the Chief Minister of Balochistan reflects a significant step towards supporting the families of those who have sacrificed their lives in the region's turbulent history. Balochistan, the largest province of Pakistan, has faced various challenges, including economic disparities, political instability, and a prolonged insurgency.

Terrorism and militancy have been persistent issues in Balochistan, with several incidents targeting security forces, government officials, and civilians over the years. The sacrifices made by individuals in the line of duty have been substantial, leaving behind families grappling with the loss of their loved ones.

Children of civil martyrs studying in any level of education from Kindergarten/Nursery till 16 years of education.

  • For the Children of Martyrs of Civil Armed Forces and Government Employees of Balochistan
  1. Must have local/domicile of Balochistan.
  2. The Martyred parent should have been employed by Government of Balochistan.
  3. Parent should be declared martyred by Home and Tribal Affairs Department of Balochistan.
  4. Child must be enrolled in any class level from Kindergarten/Nursery till 16 years of education in any institution located within Pakistan.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Must have local/domicile of Balochistan
  2. Must have obtained certificate from proper authority regarding authentication of being transgender and authentication from current educational institution.
  3. Must be enrolled in any class level from Kindergarten/Nursery till BS.

SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE:

  1. Actual Institutional Tuition Fee
  2. Hostel Fee (if any)

Chief Minister Balochistan - Fully Funded Scholarships for Minority Community Students

Scholarship Benefits:

  1. Comprehensive Coverage:Tuition fees, hostel fees, annual stipend, and books are all fully funded, ensuring students have every resource they need to excel.
  3. Reserved Slots:Each selected institution has 2 fully funded seats (adjustable as needed) available for a total of 50 minority students in both the spring and fall sessions of 2025.
  5. Elite Panel of Institutions:25 leading institutions have been chosen as Centers of Excellence, providing top-quality education and a supportive environment.
  7. Long-Term Commitment:This program supports students from intake year through to the completion of 16 years of education.

16 years of education (Intake from 6th/7th Class to 16 year of education)

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Minority Community:Students must belong to the minority community and hold a local domicile of Balochistan. Must have obtained certificate from proper authority regarding authentication of being a child from the Minorities.
  2. Enrollment:Must secure admission for the 2025 spring or fall session in a BEEF-approved institution. as per the institution's intake policy.
  3. Priority Groups:
    • First priority will be given to students from poor families where combined family income is not above monthly 60,000 PKR.
    • Children of Class VI employees.
  4. Address Verification:Applicants must have both present and permanent addresses of Balochistan in their CNIC.
