Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) is a not-for-profit Public Sector Company owned and controlled by the Government, incorporated with SECP u/s 42 of Companies Act, 2017 to award scholarships to the students of Balochistan and other objectives as mentioned in the Memorandum of Association.

BEEF intends to appoint independent directors as per the requirement of Public Sector Companies Rules, 2013 (amended up to July, 2019).

Qualification

Must have done Directors Training Program (DTP) from any institution approved and accredited by SECP and should be registered in the Data Bank of Independent Directors with Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance as per Clause 166 of Companies Act, 2017.

Regulatory Criteria

1. The candidate should be listed in the data bank of Directors maintained by the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) as per Clause 166 of the Companies Act, 2017.
2. Not serving as a director in more than five Public Sector Companies.
3. Must meet the criteria for independence as laid down under Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013 and Companies Act, 2017.
4. Must not be disqualified to act as a Director under the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for further interview; TADA is not admissible.

BEEF is seeking to commission a Third Party Evaluation/Impact Assessment of its program. The objective of this study is to conduct an in-depth evaluation of BEEF, considering both historical and prospective information about the company. The study will systematically assess and analyze the performance, impact, and effectiveness of BEEF to provide actionable insights and recommendations that enable informed decision-making and the continuous improvement of educational initiatives in Balochistan.
